Claire has been dancing since she was 3 years old. The cute little tap and ballet studio thing was her first try. She looked darling with her big bow and puffy skirt. The owner of the studio had an injury and closed. What to do??
We tried this place that did dancing, singing and acting. She liked that too. But she didn't "love" it and for the price, she needed to love it.
Moved on to Just For Kix. Danceline type dancing for little girls. She liked it and I liked the price. She has gotten to perform at a bunch of fun locations, dance her way through the Fourth of July parade and has made a lot of friends over the years.
Last year competition started for her. It was an adjustment because the coach no longer gives dance prompts from the floor, you have to know it and she takes that seriously.
Our competition season has ended, just another month until the spring show. Her group finished 2nd at the first competition and 4th at the last one. I'm proud of my girlie and her team!
She is second from the right in the first row in this video.
Waiting for results
After the show
